What is the Apprenticeship Levy?

The Apprenticeship Levy is a government initiative encouraging investment in workforce training. Employers with a pay bill over £3 million contribute 0.5% of their total payroll, with funds placed into a digital account. The money is reserved exclusively for training and must be used within 24 months.

Instead of being a tax, the levy is an opportunity and gives organisations a dedicated budget to build skills and strengthen capability so they can develop talent for the future.
