Corndel confirms its partners for the AI Leadership Apprenticeship Units: Imperial Executive & Professional Education and Microsoft.
Building on five years of partnership with Imperial
This builds on a long-standing collaboration with Imperial that has already helped organisations develop AI, leadership and data capability at scale. Now five years in, the partnership continues to present a unique combination of world-class academic and industry insight with practical, applied learning that drives measurable business impact.
The partnership with Imperial has expanded significantly since its inception, with participants on each of Corndel’s AI and data programmes able to draw on the invaluable experience of Imperial’s exclusive expert-led Masterclasses.
Supported by Microsoft to drive applied capability
The Microsoft collaboration builds on a shared commitment to shape enterprise AI capability through tools, platforms and real-world application. Corndel’s AI Leadership Apprenticeship Units ensure that learning is grounded in how organisations are actually using AI today.
Leaders on the programme will explore how to maximise value from AI investment, translate AI strategy into actionable frameworks, and build broad organisational capability that supports lasting digital transformation.
Partnerships designed for real-world AI leadership
Most organisations are investing in AI, but few are seeing the returns they expect. At the heart of this? An increasing gap in leadership capability.
Senior leaders are making high-stakes decisions about AI adoption, governance and workforce transformation at scale, often without the confidence or clarity to do so.
These partnerships ensure that Corndel’s AI Leadership Apprenticeship Units are grounded in how, when, where and why AI is rolled out in organisations – both today and in the future. They build the knowledge, skills and behaviours leaders need in order to confidently apply their learning, not just discuss in theory.
A step forward for AI leadership in the UK
Corndel has chosen to self-fund the initial phase of AI Leadership Apprenticeship Units. Corndel backs the intent of the Government’s new Apprenticeship Units but has made a decision to design its AI Leadership programmes around what’s right for leaders and their organisations. Not constraining them to a delivery model that limits impact.
We are building an AI Leadership programme shaped by academic insight and real‑world leadership practice. We are launching this new programme with employers, building in their voice from day one. Their experience, and the impact data we gather, will go back to Government – in the hope that it helps improve a model that has the right ambition behind it.
