Racism needs to be tackled not only on an individual level but on a systemic level. Structural racism exists and the world is designed to perpetuate this. To dismantle racist structures we need to articulate what those structures look like in our contexts.
Since the devastation that was felt around the world when we all witnessed the murder of George Floyd in America, a number of organisations have woken up. There was something about the stillness that COVID-19 forced on us all, that enabled us to see what has been happening for a number of years, and actually feel the need to do something to change the face of our world.
Senior leaders from diverse backgrounds will come together for a panel discussion to not only show what our world could and should look like, but also to speak about their own experiences and share their thoughts on how we change the world that we currently see.
Confirmed panelists include Sylvana Storey, CEO of Global Organizational Integrators, Kim Gieske, Managing Director and Executive Coach at Human Advantage Ltd, Shezan Hirjee, Director of Curriculum and Assessment at Corndel and Rosemarie Davidson-Gotobed, National Minority Ethnic Vocations Officer at Church of England. We would love you to join us, for what we are sure will be a powerful and galvanising conversation.
