The Leadership2020 podcast, produced by Corndel, continues to grow in popularity, with over 20,000 listeners and 5-star ratings. Described by listeners as insightful, intelligent and interesting, the podcast asks the big questions about being a better leader in the modern workplace.
Having recently celebrated its first birthday by concluding the publishing of Season 2, and with Season 3 already in post-production ready for an early 2020 release, we caught up with Clare Carpenter and Katherine O’Halloran, producers of this podcast.
‘Season 1 received such a positive response – listeners found the blend of real-life leadership experience of our guests with the latest management theory, very practical and relevant to anyone in a leadership position. Seasons 2 and 3 have been based on the same principles, keeping the discussions relevant and on-trend and inviting inspirational leaders to share their stories. Season 2 started by having an insightful conversation with Crista Cullen MBE, Director at CCKC Consulting and Founder of The Tofauti Foundation, who shared her experiences as a marketing director and sportswoman – achieving medals at both the Beijing and Rio Olympic Games. Crista was really inspirational.’
‘In Season 2 we also explored cutting-edge topics such as women in leadership; inviting back Sue Macmillan from Mumsnet to talk to us about representation of women in corporate environments; discussing the importance of building and nurturing a great culture with Jane Adshead Grant, an award winning ICF Master Certified Coach; understanding how to attract the workforce of the future with Aidan Cramer, Co-founder of JobLab; learning how to grow companies fast and lead at speed with Sophie Devonshire, CEO at The Caffeine Partnership and published Author.’
‘Evan Harris, co-founder at Peppy Health came back to the studio to speak about the importance of feedback. Kim Nilsson, CEO at Pivigo and one of our Data Advisory Board experts, presented the case for how data will revolutionise our lives and how to harness it’s power. We ended the season with Melanie Eusebe, Management consultant and author discussed with Clare working in a modern, inclusive and diverse world.’
Season 3 launches in early 2020 and sees our first double guest interview. We will also be featuring guests from Bupa and Tesco plc. Follow the Leadership 2020 page on LinkedIn to be the first to hear about our guest speakers and topics and remember to subscribe: https://leadership2020.co.uk/
