Bupa has partnered with Corndel to create professionally accredited training programmes that have delivered proven business benefits and improved Leadership throughout their organisation. By investing their Apprenticeship Levy in this way, Bupa has implemented Leadership training at all levels across their organisation, without impacting their training budget. Becky Hogan, Talent and Learning Director at Bupa shares the secrets behind the success of the Corndel/Bupa partnership:

Currently there are 111 colleagues on Bupa Leadership programmes, delivered by Corndel. “Our learners’ feedback about the content and delivery is consistently positive, we know through feedback from managers that the learning is improving the skills and behaviours of people on the programmes. The one-to-one coaching our learners receive is a key feature of the programmes and something learners find instrumental to their development. We are now consistently oversubscribed during enrolment due to the excellent reputation the programmes have in our business.”
Tatiana McNamara, Practice manager at Total orthodontic, Beckenham was recently promoted. She credits her promotion to the skills she has learnt on the Corndel programme: “The course is building my confidence. I have encouraged my staff to have honest conversations with each other, which has been helping them work better together. I feel the units are so applicable. I am currently doing appraisals for my staff and this aligns to the topic regarding holding effective appraisal meetings. I’m going into these meetings prepared with constructive and positive feedback for my staff. I’m conscious of body language and how I can use it to help my staff be and stay engaged. I am really happy with the support that we are getting from Corndel. My promotion is the culmination of this amazing journey.”
