Our people

Why the largest and most successful companies in the UK work with Corndel

100+ in-house coaches
The success of our learners is dependent on the quality of our coaches. That’s why we permanently employ each of our coaches, ensuring we attract, recruit and retain the very best.
Lived experience
Our coaches have a wealth of experience to share with their learners through one-to-one support – as successful business leaders, senior project managers and data scientists.
Experts who learn to teach
It’s an important distinction – our coaches are experts in their field, at a point in their careers where they are ready to give back and share their expertise with others.
Culture of life-long learning
Corndel is built by people committed to the value of life-long learning and development. We are driven by the impact our programmes have on learners’ day-to-day capabilities and longer-term career development.
One team
Behind each learner is an experienced coach; and behind each client is a dedicated account management team. We have a shared vision with you as our client – to delight and progress our learners.
Deep partnerships
We work in partnership with you as an employer, getting to know and taking care of your learners from enrolment through to programme graduation.

Creating a culture of excellence

We work hard to create an environment that our people can thrive in. Here are our guiding principles.
Situational approach
We apply a situational approach to problems – putting the wellbeing of people above a love of principles.
Valuing expertise
We value expertise in a business area over an ability to teach. We employ vocational experts and if necessary we teach them to teach, rather than the other way around.
Life-long learning
We create tailored training and coaching programmes for clients with specific organisational development needs.
Doing the right thing
We have cultivated an environment where doing the right thing is more important than believing the right thing.

Making a difference to learners and employers

Corndel are incredibly passionate about what they do and offer a tailored experience to each and every student. ”

Elly Smith, Development Support Officer, Vauxhall Community Law and Information Centre

The feedback from last year’s cohort was overwhelmingly positive. There was real emphasis on the quality and experience of Corndel’s tutors, the learning collateral, and on-hand support available – we have seen significant growth in our managers’ confidence and ability.”

My tutor has the most wonderful way of making you feel that you are his only student.”

The best feature of the programme is the level of support from the coach – it’s outstanding. Without My coach I doubt I would have managed to achieve the Distinction grade. She really did coach me to success.”
